Description

Corkscrew Curl is our tightest curl, firmly coiled with springy definition through the length and a full, voluminous finish. It sits around a Type 3C–4A: made to blend with tightly curled and coily natural hair. Hand-tipped as our I-Tip, each strand fits with a micro-ring or copper tube, no heat or glue, and moves up and reuses at every maintenance appointment. The curl is set into the hair, so it holds its own volume and springs back after every wash with no heat needed. Supplied 16 to 28 inches in Russian Remy, across all 70 Blush+Wren shades. Lengths are measured straight, with 1 to 3 inches of natural shrinkage once the curl settles.

What is the difference between I-Tip and Flat Tip extensions?

Both I-Tip and Flat Tip extensions are strand-by-strand methods but they differ in shape and application. I-Tips, also known as stick tips, are applied with a single bead. Whereas Flat Tips are flat keratin glue bonds applied with heat and rolled into the hair. Your stylist may recommend one over the other depending on your hair type and styling needs.

At Blush+Wren the flat tip is our K-Tip; both are available across the full 70-shade range.

How long do I-Tip extensions last?

I-Tip extensions typically require maintenance every 6-10 weeks and can last from 6-12+ months with correct aftercare. The individual strands are attached using small, reusable beads, allowing for discreet placement and easy repositioning as your hair grows.

Can you swim with I-Tip extensions?

Yes! I-Tip extensions are secure enough for swimming, but it's important to take precautions. Wear your hair in a loose braid, avoid submerging it for long periods, and rinse thoroughly after exposure to salt or chlorine to help maintain bond strength and hair quality. You may notice the beads slip after long exposure to pool water due to the excess of chemicals.

How fast is delivery?

Standard-colour orders are dispatched quickly from UK stock, with priority dispatch for registered trade accounts. Custom Colour Suite blends are made to order, so allow a little longer for production. Tracking is provided on every order.
