Both I-Tip and Flat Tip extensions are strand-by-strand methods but they differ in shape and application. I-Tips, also known as stick tips, are applied with a single bead. Whereas Flat Tips are flat keratin glue bonds applied with heat and rolled into the hair. Your stylist may recommend one over the other depending on your hair type and styling needs.

I-Tip extensions typically require maintenance every 6-10 weeks and can last from 6-12+ months with correct aftercare. The individual strands are attached using small, reusable beads, allowing for discreet placement and easy repositioning as your hair grows.

Yes! I-Tip extensions are secure enough for swimming, but it's important to take precautions. Wear your hair in a loose braid, avoid submerging it for long periods, and rinse thoroughly after exposure to salt or chlorine to help maintain bond strength and hair quality. You may notice the beads slip after long exposure to pool water due to the excess of chemicals.

Lengths are measured with the hair pulled straight. Once the curl settles, expect 1 to 3 inches of shrinkage depending on the pattern, with the tightest curls (Classic Curl and Corkscrew Curl) at the upper end. Order by the finished length your client wants, plus that allowance.

Treat them like natural curly hair: sulphate-free, moisture-rich products, finger-detangle or use a wide-tooth comb from the ends up, and air dry or diffuse. Avoid brushing when dry, which breaks up the curl.

Yes, with heat protection, as they are 100% Russian Remy human hair. The curl is set into the hair, so it returns once washed and left to dry naturally. Frequent high heat will gradually relax the pattern.
